American Quarter Horse Association Convention PlannedBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · January 26, 2012

The American Quarter Horse Association Annual Convention will be held March 9 to 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Committees will meet to consider rule changes and other matters of interest to members, and these meetings will be open to all attendees. An awards banquet, Hall of Fame banquet, and marketing forum are also planned.

The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) was organized in 1940 to collect, record, and preserve the pedigrees of American Quarter Horses. The association also serves as an information center for its members and the general public on matters pertaining to shows, contests, races, and projects designed to improve the breed and aid the industry.
