Bluman Claims Second Place in Rolex Grand PrixBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · March 30, 2015
Riding in an event that marked the final Grand Prix show-jumping contest of the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida, Daniel Bluman guided Conconcreto Sancha LS to a second-place finish. Bluman picked up four faults in the jump-off after having qualified as one of only three clear initial rounds in the Rolex Grand Prix.
Bluman was pleased with his horse’s efforts, commenting, “Our team has been working really hard to learn and to improve, and these past weeks are the result of that effort. I am very excited about the future and thankful to the team, sponsors, and owners who stand behind me.”
Bluman is sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER), and Conconcreto Sancha LS and other horses in Bluman’s stable are fed grain products designed by KER Sport Horse Nutrition. These feeds are designed specifically to meet the needs of horses on strenuous training and performance schedules.
Ovation is a palatable formulation designed for sport horses requiring balanced energy for maximum performance during competition and efficient muscle recovery afterwards. Another feed, E-clipse, is formulated with a combination of cereal grains, vegetable oil, super-fibers, and natural-source vitamin E.
