Bluman Rides to Top-Ten Finish in French CompetitionBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · June 2, 2015
Riding Conconcreto Apardi against competitors from five other countries, Daniel Bluman finished in ninth place in the CSI four-star Grand Prix de Bourg en Bresse in France. Guiding the seven-year-old stallion over a course of jumps set at 155 cm (just over five feet), Bluman made a good showing in the class that was the featured event on the last day of the weekend show.
Daniel also presented a new but very promising young horse, seven-year-old Coriano VDV, during the young horses tour. The pair had a good start, finishing the weekend with a clear round and four points in the jump-off.
Daniel, who rides for Colombia, is sponsored by KER Sport Horse Nutrition. He uses E-Clipse and Ovation, two grain products specifically formulated by Kentucky Equine Research to support the efforts of elite equine athletes. E-Clipse offers a balance of energy sources including cereal grains, vegetable oil, and super fibers. It also contains natural-source vitamin E through an advanced antioxidant technology. Ovation, which is fortified with KER’s vitamin and mineral package, is a palatable formulation designed for sport horses requiring balanced energy for maximum performance during competition and efficient muscle recovery afterwards.
