Bluman Wins Central Park Horse Show CSI 3* Grand PrixBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · September 28, 2015
Daniel Bluman, a show jumper sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER), captured the win in the U.S. Open CSI 3* Grand Prix at the second Central Park Horse Show.
Bluman told the media he had wanted to win a Rolex watch since the start of his career in show jumping. That wait is over after he piloted Conconcreto Believe to a win Friday night under the lights of New York City. In addition to the 3* victory, Bluman also finished third in the Speed class. The combined result netted him the title of U.S. Open Leading Rider and a $25,000 rider bonus in addition to his share of the grand prix purse.
“To win the U.S. Open title and that watch in Central Park—it’s a crown for a champion, so I’m very pleased tonight,” Bluman said.
Bluman relies on KER Sport Horse Nutrition to keep his show jumpers at the top of their game as they compete around the world. Ovation, a palatable formulation containing fat sources and complex carbohydrates, is designed for sport horses requiring balanced energy for maximum performance during competition and efficient muscle recovery afterwards. E•CLIPSE provides energy from a balance of sources including cereal grains, vegetable oil, and super fibers.
