Breeders’ Cup Champions Have a KER ConnectionBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · November 3, 2014
Judy The Beauty won the Filly and Mare Sprint, Dayatthespa won the Filly and Mare Turf, Bobby’s Kitten took the Turf Sprint, and in the final race of the day, Bayern led from wire to wire to claim victory in the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Other Hallway-fed horses included California Chrome, winner of this year’s Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, who finished third in the Classic.
Also, Top Decile was second in the Juvenile Fillies, No Nay Never was second in the Turf Sprint, and Secret Circle was second in the Sprint. All these horses were fueled by Hallway products during their race training.
Hallway feeds are popular with a number of top Thoroughbred trainers. Among all horses entered in the 2014 Breeders’ Cup series, feeds manufactured by Hallway provided energy for 62, or more than one-third of the horses leaving the starting gate.
