Davidson Wins Advanced at Rocking Horse Winter 2By Kentucky Equine Research Staff · February 16, 2015

KER-sponsored equestrian Buck Davidson is off to a strong start at the top levels of the 2015 eventing season, scoring a win and two seconds in the two Advanced divisions at the Rocking Horse Winter 2 Horse Trials.

Buck’s most seasoned campaigner (also the USEA’s top-scoring horse of all time), Ballynoecastle RM, added only 0.8 time penalties to a stellar dressage score of 24.6. Buck also finished second in this division aboard Copper Beech, and second in the B division with Petite Flower.

Typical of his busy competition schedule, Buck rode a total of 11 horses in the event. Other notable finishes included a second at Intermediate on Wiley Post and a second at Preliminary on Carlevo.

Davison uses KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds Ovation and Re-Leve Sport. Ovation is a palatable formulation designed for sport horses requiring balanced energy for maximum performance during competition and efficient muscle recovery afterwards. Re-Leve Sport contains omega fat sources and fiber-based carbohydrates for optimal performance. This textured feed delivers manageable energy for optimal sport horse focus.
