At the 2014 Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Final held in Lyon, France, Charlotte Dujardin rode Valegro to a winning score of 92.179%. Performing in the Freestyle division, Dujardin clinched the title of World Cup champion. She also holds Olympic and European championship standing.

Outstanding German competitor Helen Langehanenberg, winner of the championship title in 2013, rode Damon Hill NRW into second place in the competition. Third honors were earned by The Netherland's Edward Gal of The Netherlands, riding Glock's Undercover.
