Advances in Equine Nutrition is a compilation of selected papers from past Kentucky Equine Research(KER) nutrition conferences. These papers cover a broad range of topics and contain a wealth of information related to equine nutrition, veterinary medicine, and exercise physiology. A mixture of original research and review material is included, as well as a great deal of practical information about how to feed and manage all types of horses.

All four volumes showcase international authorities on nutrition, sports medicine, and veterinary topics pertaining to the horse, including veterinarians and nutritionists from leading veterinary clinics, major universities, and renowned nutrition companies in the United States and around the world. These authorities have not only refined nutritional requirements of horses, but they have also discovered ways to most effectively deliver nutrients necessary to fuel horses in all athletic endeavors, to achieve optimal growth in young horses, and to ensure nutrient requirements are being fulfilled in reproductively active horses.

The full text of all four volumes is available on KER’s website.
