International Road to the Horse World Championships SetBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · January 25, 2012
The International Road to the Horse World Championship will be held March 9 to 11 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The event, in which teams made up of two horse trainers work with unbroken horses to get them used to being handled and ridden in a matter of hours, is hugely popular as a spectator event for the public. Trainer teams from the United States, Canada, and Australia will compete for the best performance as they attempt to create a calm, responsive mount in the shortest time. A large trade fair is also scheduled.
