The Jockey Club’s 60th Annual Round Table Conference on Matters Pertaining to Racing will be held August 12 at the Gideon Putnam Resort in Saratoga Springs, New York. The meeting will focus on reports of The Jockey Club and its affiliated companies. Speakers will present an overview of the various marketing and fan development initiatives formulated by the organization following the comprehensive economic study of racing that was presented at last year’s conference.

The keynote speaker will be Travis Tygart, chief executive officer of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). This organization is the official anti-doping agency for Olympic, Pan-American, and Paralympic sport in the United States. The USADA conducts testing, manages results, and offers drug reference resources, outreach education, and other services. Tygart will speak about the practices employed by the USADA and the Partnership for Clean Competition to combat the use of performance-enhancing drugs. 

The Jockey Club will provide a live video stream of the conference which begins at 10:00 a.m. EDT and can be viewed at jockeyclub.com. Viewers can also see a replay of the live video stream to be available within one hour of the conclusion of the conference. An official transcript of the proceedings will be available on The Jockey Club website the following day.
