KER Featured in New Episode of EventionTVBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · November 10, 2015

Kentucky Equine Research (KER) is featured in a new episode of the popular web series EventionTV, called “What Should I Feed My Eventer?”

EventionTV was created by eventing trainers Dom and Jimmie Schramm of Cochranville, Pa. The series provides a fun and fresh take on equestrian topics.

The Schramms rely on KER for nutrition expertise and utilize a feeding program developed specifically for them by the company.

“A big challenge for us, because we deal with a lot of Thoroughbreds, is getting the horses to hold weight and look well,” Dom said. “It’s just amazing to see the differences in all the horses once they’re on a KER nutrition program. They’ve never looked so good.”

The Schramms use KERx Special Needs Nutrition products, including Bio·Bloom™ PS to promote and maintain healthy skin and hooves, and Synovate® HA for joint support. They also use Nano·E® to provide powerful antioxidant protection to horses with a history of tying-up.

The Schramms use Legends® horse feeds as well, a KER partner. Feeds manufactured by KER partners incorporate custom blends of KER’s own micronutrient ingredients, which are designed to deliver the optimal amount and proper balance of critical vitamins and minerals to each class of horse for performance, breeding, growth, and overall health. When used as directed, horse feeds containing KER micronutrient blends deliver the precise nutrients horses need to complement the forage portion of the diet.

The new episode of Evention features Joe Pagan, Ph.D., founder and president of KER.
