Kentucky Equine Research (KER) summer intern Elizabeth Miller is from St. Louis, Missouri.
Elizabeth’s mother is a rider, so Elizabeth was first put on a horse just two weeks after she was born.
Elizabeth attended Truman State University and earned a biology degree with an agricultural science minor. She currently attends Sam Houston University and is pursuing her master’s degree in equine nutrition.
Through her internship, Elizabeth hopes to gain more industry experience. In the future, she wants to work in the field as a nutrition specialist or in feed formulation.
In her spare time, Elizabeth likes to read and craft. She especially likes canvas art and calligraphy.
