KER Intern Spotlight: Rebecca BrundidgeBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · July 8, 2016

Kentucky Equine Research (KER) hosts interns from all over the world, either for three months in the summer or for a whole year. One of the new summer interns, Rebecca Brundidge, is from the West Coast town of Santa Ynez, California.

Growing up, Rebecca’s neighbors had horses and participated in rodeos. This inspired her to start horse camp at the age of six.

Rebecca studied animal science at the University of California, Davis. She has a minor in equine nutrition science. Rebecca hopes to use her experience at KER to prepare her for graduate school.

In addition to her interest in horses, Rebecca has a passion for dance. She has danced for fifteen years, and even directed a dance company during her college career!
