KER Intern Spotlight: Sarah HassBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · September 5, 2017
From the Sunshine Coast to the Bluegrass, Australian Sarah Hass is one of the new year-long interns at Kentucky Equine Research (KER).
Sarah started riding horses when she was five years old and eventually participated in Pony Club. She earned her degree in equine science from the University of Queensland, Gatton campus.
While Sarah is interning at KER, she hopes to obtain more hands-on research experience, such as collecting samples and scoping. She eventually wants a career in equine nutrition.
Sarah has a nine-year-old pet pig named Lucy. Currently, her favorite research horse at KER is the ever-so-quirky Pepe.
