KER President Addressed World Equine Veterinary Association CongressBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · October 14, 2015

Joe Pagan, Ph.D., founder and president of Kentucky Equine Research (KER), recently spoke at the 14th World Equine Veterinary Association (WEVA) Congress in Guadalajara, Mexico, October 7-10.

Pagan gave three talks during the congress: “Recent Advances in Equine Nutrition,” “How to Perform a Nutritional Evaluation,” and “Feeding the Performance Horse.”

According to the association’s website, WEVA aims to advance the health and welfare of horses worldwide by promoting and offering quality continuing education for equine practitioners, specifically in countries with limited access to high-quality, broad-based professional education.
