KER at Rolex Kentucky 2017By Kentucky Equine Research Staff · April 24, 2017
Coming to the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event? One of the most popular equestrian events of the year, Rolex attracts more than 80,000 visitors to the Kentucky Horse Park. Among the events, performances, and vendors, you can find Kentucky Equine Research (KER) on site.
KER will have a tailgate area during Saturday’s cross-country phase. Come visit KER at site D212 for giveaways, food and drinks, and the chance to play equine nutrition trivia to win special prizes. KER equine nutrition advisors will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about KER products and services. Look for the blue dome tent in the third row behind the sunken road.
Two of KER’s sponsored equestrians will also be competing for the top prize in American eventing. Liz Halliday-Sharp will ride Fernhill By Night and Buck Davidson will pilot Park Trader, Copper Beach, and Petite Flower. Buck finished ninth on Petite Flower in 2016.
Sunday’s show jumping will also feature the retirement of Buck’s longtime mount, Ballynoe Castle RM, the overall points leader in USEA history.
“KER is the authority on feeding high-performance horses,” Buck explains. “I have always relied on KER-formulated feeds.”
