KER-Sponsored Reiner Wins BigBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · March 12, 2015
Lisa Coulter took two horses to the Florida Reining Classic recently, and she was rewarded with great rides and prizes.
“This was an important show, and my horses really did well,” remarked Lisa.
Lisa was the Maturity Level 4 Open Reserve Champion and also the Maturity Level 2 Open Champion, both on A Smokin Whiz, a horse owned by Bob Thompson. She was Reserve Champion in the Maturity Level 2 Open class on Ima Whimpy Chic, a horse owned by Brad and Tori Meggison.
Further, she earned the top score in the Intermediate Open Championship on A Smokin Whiz and was Reserve Champion on Ima Whimpy Chic. A couple of days later she won the Intermediate Open Championship again, this time on Ima Whimpy Chic.
A Smokin Whiz was Lisa’s mount for the last World Equestrian Games, and she has gotten to know him much better in the succeeding years.
“After having time to really team up, A Smokin Whiz did so well. I hope to be able to report good news about him in the coming months.” She continued, “The other horse is brand new to me, and I am considering her as a new FEI horse. Needless to say, we hooked up quickly, and I hope to continue to have success with her.”
Sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER), Lisa has selected Synovate HA to support joint integrity in the horses she trains and shows. She also uses EO-3 and is pleased with its effect on appearance.
“I have to say that A Smokin Whiz has never looked and felt better, and that's due to KER products,” she said. “His coat is amazing, and his soundness is perfect. The mare has just started the products and she will also thrive. She needs it badly for coat condition. Synovate HA will help maintain her joint health and soundness.”
