New Owner Profile Pages Introduced on EquibaseBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · April 10, 2012
Equibase has introduced owner profile pages that can be found in the Stats Central section on equibase.com. The new pages are designed to present current racing statistics for individual owners, owners who belong to partnerships and stables, and other racing entities including syndicates.
Owner names in the company’s website are now linked to that owner’s or partnership’s specific statistical profile page. The searchable owner profiles provide statistics including information about race entries and results. The Stats Central section of equibase.com also includes expanded horse, jockey, trainer, and track statistical profiles.
The new pages will complement Thoroughbred OwnerView, a free Jockey Club website to be released soon with a goal of encouraging ownership of Thoroughbreds. The site will offer information on trainers, public racing syndicates, racehorse retirement, and owner licensing.
Equibase Company, a partnership between The Jockey Club and the Thoroughbred Racing Associations of North America, is the Thoroughbred industry’s official database. It offers wagering products, statistical information, and video race replays. Additional information is available at equibase.com.
