Para-Equestrian Joins CelebrationBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · July 21, 2015

Natasha Baker, a para-equestrian competitor, will join other Paralympic athletes representing several sports at the 2015 British Paralympic Association’s National Paralympic Day 2015 to be held July 26 at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, England.

Paralympian tennis players and swimmers will be among the attendees available to greet and pose for photos with the public at “Meet the Medalists” sessions.

Baker, who won two gold medals in Paralympic dressage competition in 2012, also participated in the first National Paralympic Day in 2013. She has been selected to compete on the British team at the FEI European Para-Dressage Championships in late September in Deauville, France. Riding a new horse, Sookie St James, Baker has been pleased with the mare’s progress and is hoping for good results.

Baker is sponsored by Saracen Horse Feeds, a Team Member of Kentucky Equine Research.
