The University of Minnesota is offering a pasture management program aimed at optimizing the use of Minnesota horse pastures.
After registering, participants will receive an initial and a follow‐up visit from an equine specialist; an area soil map, soil analysis, and fertility recommendations; a forage quality analysis; a pasture survey to identify forage species, find poisonous plants, and make weed control recommendations; an overall facilities assessment; manure management recommendations; and a customized pasture and grazing management plan.
