Send Foal Registration Photos with New AppBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · February 3, 2011

Thoroughbred owners and breeders can now use the camera within their iPhones to take and submit identification photos for foal registration following the launch of The Jockey Club Registry application (app), it was announced today by Matt Iuliano, executive vice president and executive director of The Jockey Club.

The Jockey Club Registry app is a free download from the iTunes store. A version for the Android operating system is scheduled for release later this year.

The launch of the app coincides with other new features added to The Jockey Club's Interactive RegistrationTM service allowing customers to receive notifications of outstanding registration requirements via e-mail instead of traditional mail, saving time and postage. Customers who wish to continue to receive notifications by traditional mail can do so by changing their preference in the new Customer Profile section of the site. Notifications of impending registration deadlines will continue to be sent via traditional mail.

Interactive Registration is available at no charge at
