Sponsored Eventer Wins in the U.K.By Kentucky Equine Research Staff · May 23, 2017
KER-sponsored rider Liz Halliday-Sharp competed at the Tweseldown Horse Trials in Fleet, Hampshire, in the United Kingdom.
Liz won the BE100 Open with Gorsehill Cooley, scoring 25.8, and also won Intermediate Novice with Elarona with a score of 26.1. In the five-year-old horse’s first-ever event, Castlefield Flash Cooley placed second in the BE90 Open with a final score of 29.7.
Liz uses KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds in the U.S. and KER-partner Saracen Horse Feeds in the U.K. She also relies on Bio•Bloom™ PS, EO•3™, Restore® SR, RiteTrac™, and Synovate HA® to give her horses the support they need to perform their best.
“When horses are traveling it is important to have some consistency in their feeding program. When we spend half the year in the United Kingdom, we choose Saracen because they are a direct partner of KER,” explained Liz. “We know that we are going to have the same quality of feed so that our horses will have a direct changeover.”
