Sponsored Reiner Wins Inaugural AQHA AwardBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · March 21, 2016

Western Whiz, a top reiner owned by Bob Loomis and campaigned by KER-sponsored rider Lisa Coulter, received a new award from the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA).

“What an honor for a very special horse,” Coulter said. “Western Whiz (a.k.a. Weg) received the 2015 High Point Horse Award in para-reining from AQHA. How fitting for such an amazing horse.”

An Open-level horse with many titles and earnings, Weg is also undefeated in World Para Reining (WPR) and recently carried Briana Bartlett to back-to-back wins in Green Reiner classes. Coulter coaches the U.S. para-reining team.

Coulter added, “Anyone who has been lucky enough to ride Weg knows what a treasure he is. We are celebrating a one-in-a-million kind of horse!”

Coulter relies on KERx Special Needs Nutrition products to keep her reiners, breeding stock, and young horses performing and looking their best. To achieve this, she chooses EO•3™, Synovate HA®, and Bio•Bloom™ PS.
