Sponsored Rider Places in Para-Dressage ChampionshipBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · June 14, 2016

KER-sponsored para-dressage rider Mary Jordan is working toward selection for the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro with her mount Rubicon 75.

Jordan and Rubicon placed third overall in the USEF Para-Equestrian Dressage National Division Championship, placing first in the National Grade IV Freestyle, Individual, and Team divisions.

In a post on Facebook, Jordan said “It is an honor to ride in my fourth U.S. Selection Trials and I stand ready to contribute to a team effort at any time..”

Jordan uses KERx Special Needs Nutrition products to ensure that Rubicon and her other horses are performing at their best. With Rubicon, she focuses on hoof quality and digestive support.

“The most remarkable transformation has occurred on Rubicon’s feet with our use of Bio•Bloom™ PS,” she says. “When I got him, he could not wear shoes and has issues with past quarter cracks, which were compromising his career. A year later, his feet are beautiful and he is sound.”
