Sponsored Riders Compete at Rolex Kentucky 2017By Kentucky Equine Research Staff · May 2, 2017
KER-sponsored riders Buck Davidson and Liz Halliday-Sharp recently competed at the 2017 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event in Lexington.
Buck completed the event on Petite Flower, placing just outside the top 20. He also brought Park Trader and Copper Beach to the country’s only four-star event.
“KER is the authority on feeding high-performance horses,” Buck explains. “I have always relied on KER-formulated feeds.”
Liz was sitting in fourth on Fernhill By Night after dressage before an unfortunate slip on cross-country. Rolex is her final U.S. competition before moving her stable to the United Kingdom for the summer months.
“When horses are traveling it is important to have some consistency in their feeding program. When we spend half the year in the United Kingdom, we choose Saracen because they are a direct partner of KER,” explained Liz. “We know that we are going to have the same quality of feed so that our horses will have a direct changeover.”
