USEF to Host Young Dressage HorsesBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · April 8, 2014

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) will hold a Markel/USEF Selection Event and Young Horse Observation Session on April 24 to 27 in Del Mar, California. This program helps identify young horses that may have the potential to represent the United States in future international competitions. All young horses between the ages of 4 and 6 are eligible for the sessions, and interested owners and riders can apply to participate.

Kentucky Equine Research (KER) is an educational partner of the USEF. In this role, KER equine nutritionists evaluate rations, answer questions about feed management and nutrition-related problems, and help to provide suitable forage and grain when USEF horses travel to international competitions.
