USEF Plans to Hold Developing Program Observation SessionBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · June 3, 2014
The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) will hold a Markel/USEF Developing Program Observation Session and a Youth Observation Session on June 5 to 8 in Gladstone, New Jersey.
These programs help in identifying young horses and riders that may have the potential to represent the United States in future international competitions. All young horses between the ages of 4 and 6 are eligible for the sessions, and interested owners and riders can apply to participate.
Kentucky Equine Research (KER) is an educational partner of the USEF. In this role, KER equine nutritionists evaluate rations, answer questions about feed management and nutrition-related problems, and help to provide suitable forage and grain when USEF horses travel to international competitions.
