Bryan Waldridge, D.V.M., staff veterinarian for Kentucky Equine Research, was one of the featured speakers at the recent John Thomas Vaughan Equine Conference for the Practitioner. During the opening session of the conference, he presented information on airway problems in performance horses and interesting veterinary cases in foals.
Held in early December, the conference was presented by the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. The program included lectures on corneal disease, equine pharmacy law, laminitis, wound management, treatment of sinus conditions, dermatologic problems in horses, and various factors related to performance horses.
Waldridge is a member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Equine Practitioners, Kentucky Association of Equine Practitioners, and Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.
