Weber Chosen for Driving HonorsBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · January 28, 2015

For his accomplishments in the 2014 competition season, four-in-hand driver Chester Weber was chosen as the 2014 Overall Horseman of the Year by The Chronicle of the Horse. Weber claimed first place in top international driving events including Saumur (France), Aachen (Germany), Windsor (United Kingdom), and Live Oak (Florida) last year.

At the USET Foundation’s Gold Medal Club Reception, Weber received the Whitney Stone Cup. This award is presented to an active competitor who has shown excellence in competition and high standards of sportsmanship. The recipient is also seen as an ambassador for the United States and equestrian sport.

Weber is ranked number one in four-in-hand driving in the FEI World Standings, and has been U.S. national champion driver more than ten times. Sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research, he uses several of the company’s supplements to keep his horses in top condition. Restore SR is a slow-release electrolyte that Weber has chosen to allow his team to give their best performance during the various phases of demanding competition.
