Weber Wins with Four-in-Hand TeamBy Weber Wins with Four-in-Hand Team · March 6, 2015

Kentucky Equine Research sponsored-rider Chester Weber drove his four-in-hand team to victory at the Kingdom of the Sun CDE in Ocala, Florida.

Weber earned the top score in all three phases of the two-star division, giving him an automatic win with 135.9 total points for the competition. His next challenge will be in mid-March at the Live Oak International Combined Driving Event.

Misdee Wrigley-Miller finished in second place at Kingdom of the Sun with a score of 197.04 penalty points.

Both Weber and Wrigley-Miller use KER products to keep their horses in top condition. Weber relies on Restore electrolyte product, which is available as a powder or a paste. Designed to replace the substances lost as horses sweat during exercise, Restore SR is a slow-release formula that allows gradual sodium absorption into the horse’s gastrointestinal tract. Restore Paste is an easy-to-administer product that includes a buffering agent designed to support gastrointestinal comfort in horses.

Wrigley-Miller, who also uses Restore, feeds her competition horses Ovation and Re-Leve Sport, products designed specifically for hard-working sport horses. Re-Leve Sport, a textured feed, contains balanced omega fat sources and fiber-based carbohydrates for optimal performance. Ovation is a pelleted feed that is an excellent choice for horses requiring balanced energy for maximum performance during competition and efficient muscle recovery afterwards.
