Weber Wins at Saumur Driving Competition By Kentucky Equine Research Staff · June 9, 2014
Chester Weber guided his four-in-hand team of Warmblood horses to a win at the CAIO four-star competition in Saumur, France for the second year in a row. His victory over 32 other drivers in his division also helped the U.S. team to a bronze medal finish in the Nations Cup contest.
Weber, who is sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER), was leading after the dressage phase and held his lead through the marathon day. With only one ball down on the cones course, his score was still ahead of the field for the win.
Weber trusts feeds designed by KER to provide his horses with the superior nutrition and balanced energy needed for an event that spans three days. Even with the demands of training, travel, and competition, these horses thrive on KER-formulated feed products.
