WEG Endurance Features KER ConnectionsBy Kentucky Equine Research Staff · September 2, 2014

Kentucky Equine Research (KER) Australasia is connected to successful endurance competitors at the 2014 World Equestrian Games.

Endurance champion Yamamah, ridden by SE Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed al Maktoum of United Arab Emirates, was raised on a KER nutrition program at Castlebar Endurance in Australia. Known as Kurranjong Concorde before her sale to UAE, the mare was developed by Meg Wade and Chris Gates.

Alexandra Toft of Australia was one of only 38 of the 170 starters to finish the event. KER has a long-standing relationship with the Toft family, and Alexandra utilizes several KER products in her conditioning program.

See Alexandra’s blog for behind-the-scenes WEG preparation and competition details.
